The first step in starting your project is to meet and talk about your business needs, your goals and your ideas. Once I learn more about your vision, I will offer suggestions and solutions. Together we can formulate a plan to move forward on your project.
I will research your competitors and market then provide examples and suggestions for your website’s content and functionality. I will then provide a sitemap and wireframes for you to review and we can discuss your thoughts and any questions you might have. This is also a great time for you to begin gathering the content for your project.
The design process begins by identifying the visual direction of your business and either utilizing previous branding efforts or creating new ones. This period of time allows for revisions to the website design to be made early on, before any development begins. This will save development time and reduce unnecessary costs.
Once we have locked in the overall design of your website, the development phase can begin. At this point in the process, everything is set, including colors, design and content. Once the site has been built and development is complete, I go through one last round of testing before the site is made live.
